There are several options when it comes to dimensional letters and logos. Metal, plastic, acrylic foam, etc. can be used for the material. And of course, color is very important when creating the look and feel of the overall graphic. There are standard colors and custom colors are also available. There are standard fonts and custom fonts can be used.

Cast metal letters are actually cast into forms to create a thick letter. Flat cut metal letters are also an option with various thickness. Each has the option of standard or custom fonts and colors. Installation is also a feature of this sign type. Stud mounted with a stand off or flush mounted. Most like a stand off to create even more dimension when the letters are installed. It will create a shadowing effect which can make the lettering look nice. And all of these features can be applied to logo or other cutshapes to create a very unique sign graphic.

A very popular sign type is dimensional letters. Dimensional letters are individual letters either cast or cut our of metal o, plastic, acrylic, foam to provide a 3D effect. Of course, the letters can be of any font, color or thickness to make your lettering very unique to what you want it to look like. We will set up the art work proof to provide the customer a representation of how the lettering will look once installed.

Flat Cut or Cast Aluminum Letters?

There are a variety of options when it comes to dimensional letters and logos. The most common option for materials is the style of the letter - flat cut aluminum or cast aluminum. Flat cut can be any font or shape since it will be cut out of sheet material. Cast Aluminum has to be a standard font unless you want to pay for custom cast. The best feature of Cast Aluminum is that the letters are nice and thick as opposed to Flat Cut Aluminum which comes in 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" thicknesses. The thicker the more expenseive.

Whereas, Cast Alumimum letters come 3/4", 1" or thicker depending upon the height of the letter. And if you choose a standard font then there is no extra cost for a nice thick letter.
